Does Your Athletic Program Have a Written Emergency Action Plan?
Most schools, camps, and leagues don't — and when something goes wrong on the sideline, that gap costs lives. SidelineOps helps organizations build venue-specific Emergency Action Plans, train their staff, and be ready before the moment arrives.

Anna Sundy
MS, MPS, LAT, ATC
Anna Sundy is a Board Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer with graduate-level training in both exercise science and emergency management. She founded SidelineOps after recognizing a critical and largely unaddressed gap in athletic settings: most schools, leagues, and sports organizations lack formal, venue-specific Emergency Action Plans — and the staff who need them most have never rehearsed them.
Anna earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Boston University in 2019, her Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Biomechanics from Auburn University in 2021, and her Master of Professional Studies in Emergency and Disaster Management from Georgetown University in 2025. Her Georgetown capstone research focused on the standardization of medical emergency response at NCAA Division I athletic events — bringing together her dual expertise in athletic training and emergency systems design.
Anna's clinical experience spans multiple levels of sport. She has served as an Athletic Trainer at Beulah High School, Bradley University, and currently holds a full-time position at Durham Academy in North Carolina. Across each role, she has developed and refined emergency protocols, managed acute and chronic athlete injuries, and worked closely with coaches, administrators, and medical staff to build cultures of preparedness.
In addition to her clinical work, Anna serves on the Board of Advisors for the NCISAA and is an active member of the NCISAA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee — giving her direct insight into the policy landscape and preparedness challenges facing independent schools across North Carolina.
