SidelineOps reviews your existing Emergency Actiopn Plan against current best practices, state legislation, and your specific venues. They will deliver a written gap analysis report with prioritized, actionable recommendations. This service is built for schools, camps, and athletic programs that have a plan on file, but haven't had it reviewed by a licensed athletic trainer in a year or more.
What the Audit Covers
Venue Coverage
Does the plan address every athletic facility - gym, weight room practice field, pool deck, and off-site venues you use?
Equipment Document
Are AED locations, first aid kit locations, and other emergency equipment identified by venue and confirmed to be in working order?
Specificity
Does the plan name the actual locations, communicatiuon plans, entry points - or does it name a role without filling it in?
Staff Roles & Trainin
Does the plan reflect the current staff? Does it note who was trained and when?
Communication
Is their a clear, named chain of contact? Who activates EMS? Who notifies administration? Who speaks to who?
Rehearsal Record
Is there evidence the plan as been practiced with all involved staff within the last 365 days?
Who This Is For
The EAP audit is built for athletic directors, school administrators, and head coaches have a plan in place and want to know whether it would hold up - before a situation forces the answer. It is the right starting point for organizations that:
-
Have a written EAP but haven't had it reviewed by an athletic trainer in more than a year.
-
Inherited a plan from a previous AD or staff member and aren't sure if it reflects current venues and staff
-
Are approaching a new sport season and want to confirm compliance before competition begins.
-
Have received a notice from your governing body asking for documentation of an annual review
If your organization does not yet have a written EAP, the EAP audit is not the right service. The right service is EAP development, which builds a complete, venue-specific plan from the ground up.
What You'll Receive
At the end of the audit, we will deliver a written gap analysis report covering every finding, organized by venue and category. Each gap includes a clear explanation and a specific, prioritized recommendation. The report is written to be shared with administration, insurers, or an accrediation reviewer - not just kept in a binder.
If the audit surfaces gaps that require building new plan sections or rewriting existing ones, that work can be scoped separately following the report.
